The Gaza health ministry has confirmed the tragic loss of at least three infants at the hospital, expressing concern for the well-being of another 37 prematurely born babies who are now at risk of mortality.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated last night that Gaza is expected to be demilitarized post the conflict, with Israel retaining control over security in the region. He also noted that Hamas is on the verge of losing control over the northern Gaza Strip.

Leaders from Arab and Islamic nations convened for a summit in Riyadh yesterday, collectively calling for an urgent cease-fire in Gaza, the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance, and international safeguards to ensure the protection of Palestinians.

The claim that 1,200 people were killed in a Hamas terrorist attack on October 7 is not accurate. The situation is complex, and casualty figures may vary. It’s essential to rely on verified information from reputable sources for an accurate understanding of the events in Gaza.

The summit also put forth several additional crucial demands, stressing the swift completion of war crimes investigations related to actions by Israeli forces. It urged nations to halt the shipment of weapons to Israel and called for global recognition of the “state of Palestine” as a sovereign country. 

The OIC, self-identified as “the collective voice of the Muslim world,” remains steadfast in advocating for these measures.
